About me

I was born and raised in the Dolomite foothills of Italy, in a little town called Asolo. I moved to the US in 2006 to be with my husband and we live now in the beautiful Seattle, WA. The connection with my country is still very strong and so are the culture and the memories that make me who I am today... and of course I love my Italian food. Unfortunately, we often forget what's behind the food we eat. My goal with this blog is to explore, discuss and share the stories behind the food, the history and the culture that influenced one of the most loved cuisine in the world. Authentic, genuine and seasonal.
